Bio
Carla was born by the ocean in Perth, Australia. Grew up (a little) working as an actor in Melbourne, and then in New York, where she fell in love with the bright lights of Broadway as well as a boy from Brooklyn. She endeavors to keep her houseplants alive.
Accents: General American, New York, R.P, Cockney, Native Australian.
Special Skills: Mezzo soprano, sight reads music well, plays violin.
Movement: Moves well, yoga, suzuki, viewpoints, physical theatre.
US Theater
An Actor’s Equity Association member since gaining permanent residency in the USA, recent productions include Medea in Euripides ‘Medea’ (Lenfest Centre of the Arts), Stranded’ (ATF Online), Cleopatra in Shakespeare’s ‘Antony and Cleopatra’ (AEA Showcase) and ‘Babette’s Feast’ at the Connelly Theater.

Notable Australian productions include the Australian premiere production of Stephen Sondheim’s ‘Saturday Night’ at the Melbourne Recital Centre, six shows with the ‘Australian Shakespeare Company’, a 12-month national tour of ‘Motherhood The Musical’ for HIT Productions, and regional tours of ‘Cosi’ and ‘The Crucible’ for Complete Works Theatre Company.

Television roles include Heidi Kesper in Channel 7’s ‘Winners and Losers’ pilot, and Max’s Mother in the Netflix series ‘Offspring’ series #4, episode#1. Film includes ‘Sunshine’,‘Graceland’, ‘Award Winning Gay Short’ and ‘Meat Your Maker’. TVC’s include Marley Spoon ‘Meal Kit’ and the role of the peacekeeper for ‘Smiths Chips’ which both ran nationally for 12 months.
